ALBAWABA- Hezbollah's Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed in a recent speech that military confrontations will continue unabated alongside any ongoing negotiations, emphasizing the parallel progression of battlefield and diplomatic efforts.
He reiterated the group's "deterrence equation," asserting the principle of "Tel Aviv for Beirut" as central to Hezbollah’s strategy.
Qassem expressed gratitude for the condolences offered for Resistance leaders killed in recent months and highlighted the group’s operational strength, evident through its ongoing daily attacks on Israeli positions.
He reassured supporters that once the conflict ends, Hezbollah will actively engage in electing a new president for Lebanon, a process currently stalled by the war.
The conflict has intensified in recent hours, with Hezbollah launching missile strikes on Israeli military targets, including the Al-Amra Gate south of Khiam, the settlement of Avivim, and the Shraga base near Acre.
Israeli sources confirmed the deaths of four soldiers in clashes in southern Lebanon, while rockets fired from Lebanon toward Israel’s northern coastal region triggered repeated sirens in Nahariya and caused panic in Acre.
Hezbollah continues to bombard Israeli positions with rocket barrages, escalating tensions along the Lebanon-Israel border as it aims to maintain military pressure while pursuing its political objectives.
