ALBAWABA - Zainab Hassan Nasrallah, the daughter of the previous Hezbollah Secretary-General who was murdered in an Israeli attack on the southern suburbs of Beirut, received a stern message from Israeli army spokeswoman Avichay Adraee on Friday.

"X" (previously Twitter) was the social media channel where Adraee posted about Zainab's recent interview on Hezbollah-affiliated radio station "Al-Nour." In response to her comments, he said: "Zainab Hassan Nasrallah! a continuation of an attitude that glorifies murder, terrorism, death, and evil. She continues to exalt her father's role in terrorism above the importance of his presence in her life, speaking to Hezbollah's defunct propaganda platform.

Adraee also wrote: "It is perplexing how people defend injustice as if it were virtuous and exalt murder as if it were a great deed. The fact that they thank God for what they call blessings—entering hellfire—is even more startling. Such behavior is not acceptable to God. His teachings are clearly at odds with what you advocate in the name of violence and terrorism.

The letter was sent during the continuing fighting in Gaza and the fallout from the October 7 bombings, which have increased tensions between Israel and Hezbollah.

Zainab had said in her interview that she was steadfast in her support of her father's legacy. "I would reply yes if you asked me whether I would consent to Sayyed Hassan's resurrection without seeing him. The whole Hezbollah community is his property, not just mine," she said.
