ALBAWABA- Israeli airstrikes targeted multiple locations across Lebanon on Wednesday, striking Ghobeiry in Beirut's southern suburb, Hawsh al-Rafiqa, Nabha, and the heights of Baalbek in the eastern Bekaa Valley, as well as the outskirts of Zebqin in the southern Tyre district.

The Israeli military confirmed the completion of its third strike on alleged Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut.

In response, Hezbollah announced retaliatory attacks on Israeli positions. Missiles were launched at Israeli forces stationed at the Ein Zeitim base and near Khiam, with the group claiming direct hits.

Hezbollah's Islamic Resistance Operations Room issued a detailed statement about a confrontation in Tayr Harfa, where its fighters intercepted an Israeli force infiltrating a house on the town's western edge.

Using medium-range machine guns and other weapons, Hezbollah fighters collapsed parts of the structure, inflicting casualties on the Israeli unit.

A subsequent attempt by Israeli forces, supported by an armored vehicle, to evacuate their casualties ended in further losses. Hezbollah reported the destruction of the vehicle and additional casualties during the exchange.

The Israeli military later acknowledged four fatalities and several injuries, while Israeli media reported six deaths, including personnel from elite units such as the 13th Battalion (Golani) and Maglan, as well as an archaeologist accompanying the force.
