The Kuwaiti criminal court, at a session held on Sunday, issued a death sentence against the murderer of prominent Kuwaiti journalist Hedaya Sultan al-Salem.
Khaled al-Azmi charged of spraying al-Salem's car with fatal gunfire in a Kuwait street last March.
The victim was the chief editor of al-Majales magazine. The court dismissed charges of possession unlicensed weapons and bullets but found the defendant guilty for premeditated murder. (Albawaba.com)
