ALBAWABA - Syria's Civil Defense (White Helmets) announced on Monday that dozens were killed and injured in a car explosion in Manbij city.

According to the White Helmets, the blast took place in Manbij city, east of Aleppo province on Feb. 3 killing and injuring civilians including women.

Unrest remains in a few parts of Syria as the new Syrian transitional government vowed to eliminate the remnants of the former regime led by ousted President Bashar Assad, who escaped to Russia upon entry on the Syrian opposition to the capital Damascus on Dec. 8.
