ALBAWABA - Now former CEO, Vishal Garg, who became famous, or rather infamous, after firing 900 of his employees through a Zoom call in 2021 has now been fired.

Garg was fired by the board of Better Home and Finance on August 3rd and the person who replaced him, Daniel Lewis, was someone whom he helped get on the board just a week ago.

After he was fired, Garg started demanding for his old job back, having a lawyer send a letter to the board stating that he was just about to turn the company around after it was devalued from $8 billion to $300 million during his tenure, according to CNN.

The letter claimed that Garg was ‘just about’ to achieve success for the company through a new initiative that trained artificial intelligence to process mortgages.

The company continues to suffer after Garg as investors jump ship with the company’s stock price dropping 45 percent in less than two weeks after Garg’s firing.
