The Goethe Institute of Rabat has organized lately a Buto spectacle, on the seashore of the city of Sale. Emarrakech reports that the Buto - a form of dance that strives to express, by means of body and movements, a particular life philosophy concerning nature and life - was performed by the German dancer, Regina Goerger.
The Japanese word Buto is composed of two parts: "Bu", which means - to make the ground move by the legs, and "to", which means - to elegantly move the upper part of the body. The Buto is an avant-gardist Japanese dance, that was born during the sixties and that was influenced by various western trends and by surrealism in particular.
