ALBAWABA - A bus carrying at least 40 people plunged into the Padma River in Bangladesh, local media reported.
Anadolu Agency said that casualties are feared in the incident.
"At Daulatdia ghat in Rajbari, a bus fell into the Padma while boarding a ferry. Fire Service diving teams are working to rescue the passengers who were inside. Additional diving teams are being sent from the Dhaka headquarters," the Fire Service Media Wing revealed in a statement on Wednesday.
Mohammad Monjur Morshed, police official in Rajbari, reevaled they were aware of the incident but had not yet received any reports of casualties.
