A London dinner to celebrate the wedding of Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney will have some familiar faces in attendance with Walid Jumblatt among the three politicians invited to attend, ministerial sources told The Daily Star.

Environment Minister Mohammad Machnouk and MP Marwan Hamade will join the Progressive Socialist Party leader in the UK on Oct. 23, for the dinner hosted by Alamuddin's father Ramzi.

The Lebanese-British human rights lawyer Alamuddin, 36, and Hollywood actor Clooney, 53, dominated world headlines last weekend in a lavish Venice affair that included a secret wedding ceremony at one of the famed city's luxurious hotels.

An internationally acclaimed barrister, Alamuddin surprised tabloids by pushing the American celebrity to break his long-time vow to remain a bachelor forever.
