Emirati diva Ahlam never wastes an opportunity to express her love to her husband, Qatari rally car racer Mubarak AlHajiri.
The singer and Arab Idol judge uploaded a picture of her lovingly kissing the hand of her husband on Instagram, while he was kissing her forehead.
Some perceive Ahlam and her husband as the archetype of modern love, something of a modern time Romeo and Juliette romance.
But for the more traditional and conservative society of the Gulf the picture was way too provocative.
Ans as usual , Ahlam was not spared from the utterly rude negative comments that her picture triggered.
However, the diva -who is used to handling bad press- turned a blind eye to the criticism.
