UAE songstress and bitchy tweep, Ahlam, is not a woman to be messed with, as anyone looking at her Twitter posts would know. The star hasn't exactly pulled her punches when talking about journalists, fans or even fellow celebrities.
But her battle with the Lebanese media has been her longest and most fierce and although Ahlam is partial to making an empty threat or two against the press, it looks like she is about to take things further than ever before.
The Arab Idol judge is planning to take a number of Lebanese journalists to court over stories published about her that she claims are untrue.
During an interview with the Middle East news portal Elaph this week, Ahlam stressed that the Lebanese press must be the ones to make it up to her and not the other way round.
The latest tiff comes after one Lebanese journalist decided to interview Ahlam's long time rival, the Kuwaiti singer, Shams and print all of Shams comments about the UAE star.
