Reconstruction work in the satellite city of Sadr, Baghdad city, is continuing. During the Baath regime the people of this area were subjected to all sorts of harassment. Now the residents of this district of Baghdad enjoy many services, as part of the reconstruction of the district, and already contracts have been given for the building or rebuilding of 30 schools, work on which is expected to be completed shortly. The satellite city has a population of around three million.
