Hansgrohe AG, the leading manufacturer of bathroom fittings and showerheads, has joined the likes of Apple, Sony, and Siemens in the top 10 companies in the recently announced International Forum Design (iF) ranking.

Since 1953, the iF has been recognising outstanding achievements in design and this ranking represents the overall results of all iF awards from the last three years.

This year, ten Hansgrohe AG products won iF design awards, including two Gold Awards – for the PuraVida washbasin mixer and the Focus electronic mixer. Hansgrohe AG is now at 6th place in the company ranking, up from 11th place last year.

Design, innovation and quality are inseparable at Hansgrohe AG. This concept has been at the core of the company philosophy for decades. “We are very proud that as a result of having pursued this approach consistently, we have been able to join the ranks of the companies leading the world in terms of design and innovation such as, Apple and Sony,” says a delighted Richard Grohe, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Hansgrohe AG.

“At the same time, being given this top 10 ranking provides us with an even greater motivation: our products, collections and solutions will continue to feature outstanding quality in terms of form, functionality and user-friendliness. We will continue to make the most of our relationships with internationally renowned designers and architects like Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola, the Bouroullec brothers and Phoenix Design, as well as relying on our own competence in dealing with water.”

Earlier this month, the unique AxorBouroullec collection, part of the Axor design brand, also won a German Design Award in Gold. Developed in collaboration with renowned designers Ronan and ErwanBoroullec, the AxorBouroullec range gives you freedom to compose a bathroom solution that is right for you.
