EPSON has introduced a new 24-pin impact document printer, the EPSON PLQ-20, designed for passport and visa printing, tickets and registration documents, making it the ideal printer for banks, embassies, registration offices, ticket offices and schools.

The Epson PLQ-20 handles high volume paper throughput at rapid print speeds of up to 480cps. Its ribbon-life equates to 5 million characters and the ribbon can be changed easily, even by less experienced users.

In addition, the PLQ-20 has a high copy capability of 7-part forms and a maximum thickness of 2.6 mm. The printer’s small footprint and the optional space saving kit enable it to be installed in restricted spaces for example, on top of bank counters.
