According to <i>Alfourat</i>, Baghdad municipality held a meeting, headed by Dr. Alaa Mahmoud Altamimi and other officials, consultants and specialists, concerning the latest updates about urgent projects in Baghdad.
Dr. Altamimi confirmed that the meeting discussed traffic jams in the Iraqi capital and ways to alleviate it. He conveyed that there is an urgency to complete the works on new bridges and roads. He also added that the municipality has started the project to build new parking lots in the commercial area of Baghdad. This, according to him, can ease the suffering of Iraqis.
Dr. Altamimi also indicated that funds were allocated to implement water and sewage projects in areas surrounding Baghdad.
