Work is almost 60 percent complete on a project to repair the sewage collection system of a central district of Baghdad. Work is scheduled
to be completed in by mid this year. It will improve service for about 1.5 million
residents.
It should be noted that just recently a local newspaper reported that the works in at least 10 sewage stations in Baghdad's Al-Karradah district were completed. The costs of these projects were put at about $25 million.
