US President held talks with the Queen in the exalted halls of Windsor Castle on Friday. However, tens of thousands of people thronged the streets of central London, in a huge and colorful demonstration against Trump’s visit to the country.

People marched in Edinburgh from the Scottish Parliament to the Meadows, waving placards with messages including “Dump Trump” and ”Love Trumps Hate,” as part of a so-called “Carnival of Resistance”.
