ALBAWABA - "The fall of a plane will not spare anyone" Lebanese astrologer Leila Abdel Latif's prediction has been circulating again at the beginning of this year after the crash of the Iranian president's helicopter.

However, this time Leila Abdel Latif's prediction faced severe criticism because it was too general and did not specify the individuals on the plane or their importance. Most activists believe that this is just a prediction that could happen at any time, as plane crashes occur frequently worldwide and always attract attention, with no relation to the death of the Iranian president or his life.

Despite her predictions coming true over the past years, she refuses to be called a "fortune-teller" or "oracle". Lebanese Leila Abdel Latif has gained fame among astrologers for being "the lady of predictions," especially as she is the first woman in Lebanon to host TV programs about horoscopes and astrological predictions based on various factors.

Since the beginning of the new year in 2024, astrology expert Leila Abdel Latif has predicted numerous events related to celebrities' lives and natural disasters affecting countries. Her predictions have been coming true one after another since the early hours of the year, with about 7 predictions turning into reality so far. The latest of which was the separation of Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Ahmed El Awady, which she had predicted to occur in the second half of January.

According to local Iranian reports, a presidential helicopter had an emergency landing in East Azerbaijan Province and is believed to have been carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

Initial reports say that the helicopter was carrying President Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in addition to several other Iranian officials. Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.

According to state media, the bad weather conditions have made the rescue efforts even harder as emergency teams fight time to reach the area where the incident took place.

The president’s convoy included three helicopters. Two of the choppers carrying several ministers and officials have landed safely, TASNIM News Agency reported.
