ALBAWABA - The person who confused Egypt and the police in Cairo was finally arrested. Nicknamed "سفاح التجمع (which means 5th Settlement slaughterer)", was detained by the Egyptian authorities.
On Saturday morning, the security services in Egypt announced arresting a young man named Kareem on charges of killing at least 4 girls and throwing their bodies in desert areas in the Port Said and Ismailia governorates.
Who is Kareem, known as 5th Settlement slaughterer
Kareem, 37, has been living in the apartment where he committed a series of crimes, for more than a year, and he has a 9-year-old child.
The mass murderer was living in the United States but he returned a short time ago and works in trade inside and outside Egypt. He holds a foreign nationality alongside the Egyptian one. He is also divorced.
Weird rituals performed before killing victims:
It is worth noting that all the females that were killed used to work in prostitution, according to local media in Egypt. The killer is said to perform weird rituals with his victims before raping and killing them.
Investigations by the security services revealed that the accused's victims were all prostitutes from Cairo Governorate. He used to force them to take Methamphetamine and shabu drugs before having "sex" with them.
The court also decided to send the accused to the Forensic Medicine Department to determine whether he had taken narcotic substances or not, and to examine his phone to see whether there were new victims in the incident.
