ALBAWABA - Belgium's national football team trolled the U.S. President after defeating the American football team by performing the famous "Trump Dance". Belgium defeated the USA 4-1 and advanced to the FIFA 2026 World Cup quarterfinals.

Belgium's celebration by doing the "Trump Dance" came following a big controversy on social media after Trump interfered, calling the FIFA President to overturn a red card given to American footballer Folarin Balogun.

FIFA recently sparked outrage and claims of corruption after overturning U.S. striker Folarin Balogun's red card, which he took during his country's FIFA World Cup match against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday, July 2.

Trump personally called FIFA President Gianni Infantino to have the ban lifted, despite receiving an automatic one-match ban for stepping on the ankle of Bosnian defender Tarik Muharemović. Although it was initially ruled a foul, an assistant referee used VAR and determined it warranted a red card.

According to The Guardian, FIFA lifted the ban by utilizing a rule that allows the organization to put punishments on hold, under Article 27 of its disciplinary code.

Trump also took to Truth Social, "Thank you to FIFA for doing what was right, and reversing a great injustice! President Donald J. Trump."
