The Watani Mind’s Pleasure seminars, organized in association with the DSS every Thursday and Friday, reintroduce this week acclaimed expert speakers Dr. Basheer Al Rashidi and Dr. Mohammed Naboulsi, following on the massively successful seminars they presented in July.
This Thursday, Dr. Al Rashidi will present the golden rules that enable individuals to manage their mental capacities and transform objectives into realities. Al Rashidi will cover the process of managing one’s own mind and creating mental images that drive them to achieve success.
Dr. Basheer Al Rashidi is an internationally celebrated expert and holds a PhD in Educational Psychology, Issues Management and Leadership in Business. Dr. Rashidi continues to play a key role in designing and evaluating educational systems in Kuwait and the region.
Also returning to the stage at DCCI on Friday is Dr. Mohammed Naboulsi, Chairman of the Arab Psychology Association and founder of the Specialized Arab Psychology Magazine. Dr. Naboulsi will offer the audience the key to self-development through the analysis of unsuccessful situations and the power of positive thinking. He will encourage individuals to search for their inner strengths and weaknesses to find the courage to change themselves rather than attempting to change the world.
Last Thursday, Mind’s Pleasure presented Dr. Yehia Abdul Hamid, professor and head of department at Assyout University in Egypt. At the seminar, Dr. Abdul Hamid spoke about families and the use of certain efficiency habits to ensure that their places in society and the nation are conserved.
Friday’s seminar hosted Rami Kalawi, researcher at the Islamic Research Centre in Dubai. Kalawi focused on internet addiction and demonstrated that despite the internet’s many positive benefits, the net is also heavily misused and can be harmful when used in the wrong way.
The Watani-DSS Mind’s Pleasure is set to introduce expert speakers in the main auditorium of DCCI every Thursday and Friday until August 24. The seminars are open to both the Arabic and non-Arabic speaking public and address a number of compelling family, social, and national issues relating to the social and educational development of the UAE.
