ALBAWABA - "You're welcome, drones are not welcome ... so don't fly your drones," said Andrew Giuliani, head of the The White House Task Force on the FIFA World Cup 2026, in a press conference to the public.

On the heels of the recent disrupted drone attack in the White House UFC event, it seems that each one of the 78 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup played in the United States will have Anti-drone measures and jammers in place to prevent any possible attacks or disruptions.

"All 78 of the matches in the United States of America have counter drone mitigation protection, and every fan fest, one fan fest in every single city throughout the duration of the World Cup will have counter-drone mitigation coverage," according to Giuliani.

He further added that they've been working on these measures since last year, training local police officers on using them, highlighting U.S. preparedness to host the World Cup matches, falling spotlights notwithstanding.

Andrew Giuliani, son of former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, has credited U.S. President Donald Trump with implementing these measures. The FBI in Miami and Atlanta confiscated 35 recreational drones near World Cup venues so far, according to social media posts from those bureaus.
