du, the integrated telecom operator in the UAE, brings Unlimited BlackBerry® from du to customers across the UAE. New and existing customers can sign-up and enjoy unlimited service with no activation or monthly fees until 5 Nov 2008. The BlackBerry® solution from du provides wireless access to email, calendar, messaging and internet at AED 130 per month for “Unlimited National” data plan and AED 260 per month for “Unlimited International” data plan.

With a roaming footprint in over 300 mobile networks in countries across the world, du customers can use BlackBerry® smartphones to access data in over 181 networks in 75 countries worldwide where it offers GPRS data roaming. du is continuously working on further increasing its international roaming footprint to cover more countries.

du provides BlackBerry® Enterprise solutions to companies that enable wireless enterprise applications and connectivity to back-end systems. It works as a wireless extension to corporate email systems, providing advanced security features on devices.

In addition to BlackBerry® Enterprise solutions, du provides BlackBerry® Internet Service, more suitable for individual users, mobile professionals and small businesses that want wireless access to communications and information with no required installation of server software or hardware.

du offers customers a choice between the BlackBerry® Curve™ 8300 smartphone, the BlackBerry® 8800 smartphone, the BlackBerry® 8700g smartphone and the BlackBerry® Pearl™ smartphone.


du, the integrated telecom service provider in the UAE, launched mobile telecommunication services on 11 February 2007 across the UAE in addition to internet and pay TV services in some of the free zones of Dubai. Call Select, the first of du's nationwide Fixed line services for voice telephony, was launched in July 2007.

Among du’s many firsts is its historic Number Booking Campaign for both individuals and business, Pay by the Second billing system, Mobile TV, Mobile Payments, first of its kind ‘WoW’ recharge card (which offers customers the choice between more credit and more time) and Self Care. du business offers include Closed Business User Group and preferred International Destinations.

du is 40 percent owned by the UAE Federal Government, 20 percent by Mubadala Development Company, 20 percent by Emirates Communications & Technology Company LLC and 20 percent by public shareholders. It is listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and trades under the name du.
