A plane loaded with relief supplies from the UAE Red Crescent Society (RCS) arrived in Jordan’s capital city of Amman earlier this week in the framework of the air-bridge, organized by the RCS to help ease the sufferings of the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli aggression.
The plane, which is the tenth sent by the RCS, discharged its cargo of some 40 tons of medical supplies to health centers and clinics in various Palestinian towns, including Tulkerem, Nablus and the Jenin, Balata and Daheisha refugee camps, in addition to blankets for the refugees in the Jenin and Balata refugee camps who were displaced by the latest Israeli incursion and attacks, Gulf News reported.
The items are due to be sent shortly to the Palestinian occupied territories in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. (Albawaba.com)
