Lebanese security forces detained the two sisters Josephine and Georgette Mussa while leaving Beirut airport after confiscating Israeli passports with them. According to Al Manar TV, following preliminary investigations with Josephine (67 years) and Georgette (69 years), security forces concluded that the two sisters entered Lebanon with Lebanese passports a few days ahead of the general elections, held on Sunday.
In addition, Georgette confessed of participating in the electoral process in one of Beirut three districts. But Josephine, who carries also an American passport in addition to her Israeli and Lebanese ones, denied participating in the voting process.
The two women were later transferred to the Intelligence branch within the Internal Security Forces to continue investigations with them, especially that their passports showed that they are still living in Israel.
