Turkey's Prime Minister Abdullah Gul is due to make a 24-hour visit to Iran on Sunday, with talks expected to center on the crisis in Iraq, the Turkish embassy in Tehran said.
Since last week, Gul has already visited Syria, Egypt and Jordan, in the framework of a Middle East tour, aimed at bringing about a peaceful resolution to the standoff between Iraq and the United States.
In addition, AFP said the Turkish leader is also set to visit Saudi Arabia on January 11. (Albawaba.com)
