The Tunisian tourism industry has donated one million Euros (dollars) to the German victims of the April attack on a synagogue on the Tunisian isle of Djerba, which killed eighteen people, Germany's Bild am Sonntag newspaper reported Sunday.

The paper said that Tunisian Interior Minister Hedi M'henni had delivered a check from the country's tourism sector to German Justice Minister Herta Daeubler-Gmelin to be distributed to victims and their families by the federal prosecutor's office.

Fourteen German tourists were killed and 18 were wounded in the suicide bombing on April 11. One French national, three Tunisians including the attacker and a French-Tunisian dual national also died. (Albawaba.com)
