On March 16, the theatre of the city of Tunis will host a classical music concert, which is organized by the Ministry of the Higher Education in conjunction with the Higher Music Institute of Tunisia and with the Ecume Association. The aim of this event is enhancing the cultural relations between the two shores of the Mediterranean.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that the cities taking part in this concert are Aix-en Provence, Algiers, Genoa, Jounich, Marseilles, Split, Sfax, Tunis and Valetta. The concert will be directed by the renowned maestro Ahmed Achour and the program of the event will include symphonies by Luigi Boccherini, Joaquin Turina and Antonio Vivaldi. The same concert will be performed on March 18 in the municipal theatre of Sfax.
