ALBAWABA- Police discovered a suspicious car near a Trump rally in New York City earlier today, initially sparking concerns of explosives. A K9 unit detected the potential threat during a routine sweep before the event, where thousands had already gathered.

This marks the third assassination attempt against Donald Trump in the past two months. In the first attempt, on July 25, an individual was apprehended with a firearm near a Trump speech in Georgia.

On September 15, Ryan W. Routh, a 58-year-old man, was charged with two gun-related offenses after being discovered hiding with a rifle at Donald Trump’s Florida golf course.

Although Routh did not fire any shots or aim directly at Trump, the incident has heightened security concerns. Court documents indicate that Routh may have spent nearly 12 hours concealed in the bushes with a loaded SKS semi-automatic rifle, according to phone records submitted on Monday.

This follows an earlier attempt on July 13, when a gunman grazed Trump’s ear with a bullet during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
