ALBAWABA- A second wave of explosions has struck Lebanon, this time involving "Walkie Talkie Icom" wireless communication devices. Although the blasts occurred on a large scale across multiple regions, the explosions themselves were relatively small.

More than 100 people have been injured as a result. According to Reuters, hundreds of injuries have been reported from today's explosions.

Videos circulating online show explosions erupting during funerals for victims of the previous day's blasts, causing panic among mourners in Southern Beirut.

According to AFP, citing a security source, several wireless communication devices exploded in Beirut’s southern suburb.

Reuters also reported, based on a security source, that the devices that detonated across Lebanon today were handheld wireless communication devices, different from the pagers that exploded yesterday.

The source further revealed that Hezbollah had purchased these handheld communication devices five months ago, when they acquired the pagers.

Additionally, five more explosions were reported in and around the city of Sidon.
