Damascus Radio emphasized on Tuesday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, with his “security wall” which separates the West Bank from the 1948 territories and from Jerusalem, in the depth of the Palestinian territories, is seeking to blow up the current efforts to renew the Mid East peace process and to destroy the hope of the Palestinian people, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.
In its daily political commentary, the state-run radio stressed that the Israeli premier “knows very well” the “true and sure path for security” by the “establishment of just and comprehensive peace on all fronts”, namely a peace which “restores the rights to their owners”, and ends the “occupation of the Golan, Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza”, SANA added.
