Al Raha Beach Hotel celebrates its first year of operations, bolstering the growing tourist destination of Abu Dhabi.  The hotel’s success within the first year of operation comes as no surprise to general manager, Kamel Zayati, who attributes a steady high occupancy level to careful planning and a professional support network.
Zayati said:  “The strategy of the management company, Danat Hotels and Resorts, to place Abu Dhabi’s first boutique hotel in the heart of the capital region’s expansion and development has made all the difference.  We run at an 80 per cent occupancy level, which is phenomenal for the first year of operations, and it can only be a positive indicator of the years to come.”
Collaborating with an extensive support network – including associates from the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority through to the press and various trade organizations –Al Raha Beach Hotel’s growing reputation for exceptional hospitality and personalized service also enhances the status of the capital region.

Zayati said:  “As we celebrate our success at Al Raha Beach Hotel, we contribute to the development of Abu Dhabi as a solid tourist destination in Arabia and beyond.  We just said goodbye to many of our local and international guests who spent Christmas and New Year’s with us, all to rave reviews.  Word is getting out thanks to our local and international marketing push!”
The 110-room property enjoys a prime location on the Al Raha corniche at the centre of what is hailed to be the changing face of Abu Dhabi with stylish housing developments, pristine beaches, golf courses and an upscale shopping mall all mere minutes from the hotel’s front door.
Set directly on its own private beach, the resort also features 24 luxurious villas and other facilities like a recreation centre with aqua medic pool, outdoor pools, gym, squash courts, beauty centre and soon an exclusive Vitality Clinic. Furthermore different water sports and a kids club are offered. Guests have everything at their fingertips and are a mere 20 minutes from the city centre for additional shopping or sightseeing.
Zayati said: “The entire team at Al Raha Beach Hotel is genuinely thrilled with the great success of year one.  We have all worked very hard to see this day, and look forward to a profitable second year.”
Al Raha Beach Hotel is operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, the umbrella brand for the hotel division of National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H).

The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) was formed in 1996 in response to the need to develop both tourism and commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially Abu Dhabi.
The Corporation was formed as a semi-government organisation. NCT&H’s primary objective is to promote Abu Dhabi as an international destination, manage hotels and provide transportation and industrial catering services.
