STC has launched "SAWA International" on October 4th, 2010, as part of its continuous efforts in providing the best services and special offers that meet the various demands of its customers, and fulfil their aspirations in receiving the lowest prices for international calls in the Kingdom.
"SAWA International" service offers the lowest fare per minute for international calls to the customer's, current and new, favourite numbers without restrictions, conditions, or subscription fees. STC's new service allows making international calls (Egypt, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh) with 55 halalas per minute, and will give the opportunity to the customers to enjoy 3 months of cheap calls from the date of applying the service. However, the fare will return to its original price of 65 halalas after the end of 3 months. Customers can activate the service by dialing 1500, and by following the necessary procedures of choosing two international numbers, and choosing two local numbers to receive 25% discount on it. Customers are also make cheap international calls to their favourite numbers in Philippines, Indonesia, Srilanka, Yemen, Sudan, and Turkey with 65 halalas per minute. The price reduction will be included in SMS messages, with 25 halalas per international message to the countries available at "SAWA International" list.
