Six people were killed in northwest Syria Saturday after their truck veered out of control on a steep road, the official <i>Syrian Arab News Agency</i> said.
The agency quoted hospital sources in Lattakia, 348 kilometres northwest of Damascus, as saying that five people died at the scene, close to the village of Ain al-Baida, and the sixth died at the hospital.
