ALBAWABA- UK Trade Operations reported an incident 66 nautical miles southwest of Hodeida, Yemen, where a ship was attacked and hit in the stern by a small, white boat between 5-7 meters long.

The captain reported that water began entering the ship, making it uncontrollable. Subsequently, the ship was struck again by an unknown aerial projectile, and vessels in the area are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.

Military authorities are now assisting with the incident. The latest update indicates that the ship is sinking, with suspicions pointing towards the Yemeni Houthis as the attackers.

Although the Houthis have not yet claimed responsibility, they have a history of launching missile and unmanned attacks on vessels bound for Israel or those violating the blockade imposed by the Yemeni Houthi group.

This blockade supports Gaza and opposes the brutal Israeli actions and inhumane blockade against the people in the Gaza Strip.
