A team led by Israel's State Prosecutor has decided to recommend indicting Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on corruption charges, Israel's Channel Two TV reported Saturday night.
The draft indictment will accuse Sharon of accepting bribes from businessman David Appel, but will recommend that no charges be brought against Deputy Prime Minister Ehud Olmert due to insufficient evidence. Appel was charged in January for bribery of public officials, among them Sharon.
