UAE President Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has sent a cable to Iranian President Mohammad Khatami, greeting him on the Islamic Republic’s National Day, according to Khaleej Times.
Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent a similar cable to President Khatami.
In addition, Shaikh Zayed also sent a cable of greetings to President Valdas Adamkus of Lithuania on his country's Independence Day. Shaikh Maktoum sent a similar cable to President Adamkus as well. (Albawaba.com)
