Seven Comic Strips Published to Explain the Family Code

With the initiative of a partnership between `Female Leadership` and the `Network of Development Associations` (RADEV), a series of comic strips titled `Tell me the New Family Code` has been recently published to familiarize the new generation with the new Family Code. <i>Le Matin</i> reports that seven comic strips, which were published in Arabic and French, targets the children aged 12 and above. Rachida Afilal, the director of the `Female Leadership` notes that the French speaking version is specifically prepared for the Moroccan residing abroad since the provisions of the Family Code relates them too. "The new provisions of the Family Code bring important changes in terms of equality between men and women. However, the challenge lies in applying and promoting these changes, ` said Afilal, the director of the Female Leadership.
