Representatives from ten Arab countries are due to meet in Cairo on Wednesday to discuss, amongst a wide range of issues, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
According to AP, Arab League officials said on Sunday that the meeting of the committee charged with supporting the Palestinians is scheduled to discuss the Israeli confinement imposed on Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and stress that Arafat is the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa will brief the committee on his recent talks held in the United States and several Arab countries. (Albawaba.com)
