Regime attacks kill 62 across Syria: monitor

The U.K.-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) announced on Monday that 62 people, including women and children, had been killed in attacks by Syrian regime forces in different parts of the war-torn country.

According to an SNHR report detailing Monday’s casualties, 30 people were killed in Idlib, nine in Deir al-Zour, 15 in Damascus, six in Daraa and one person each in Aleppo and Hama.

Regime warplanes on Monday also bombed the only field hospital in the town of Binnish in Syria’s Idlib province.

Hospital worker Ahmad al-Badawi told Anadolu Agency that the bombing had not resulted in any casualties but had led to the destruction of the hospital and a number of ambulances.
