The Moroccan capital Rabat will host the 4th "Mawazine - rhythms of the world" festival, scheduled to take place from May 18 to 25. The international festival will bring together numerous international artists as well as Moroccans.
Among the top world artists that will take part in the festival are Salsa maestro, Oscar d'Leon, Brazilian Samba star, Dona Inah, Benin's Kidjo and Cape Verdean, Lura. As for Morocco, the hosting country, it will be represented in the festival by Abdelwahhab Doukkali, Ihsan R'miki, Hadra Chefchaouen, Abdellatif Bayati and Salah Cherki.
The unique festival, reports <i>Aujourd’hui</i>, will serve as another opportunity to present Rabat’s rich inheritance to the world and to promote tourism to the city.
