An official at Pakistan embassy revealed that the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani has offered to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister, Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri, to rebuilt one of Pakistan’s quake-hit areas. The offer was made during Pakistan’s Foreign Minister’s visit to Doha on October 31 and meeting with the Qatari Emir, as special envoy of President General Pervez Musharraf.
It is expected, reports Gulf Times, that Qatar would rebuilt in its entirety one of Pakistan’s quake-hit areas including houses, schools and hospitals.
The embassy official added that the Qatari Emir also promised to loosen Pakistani work force entry to Qatar.
