ALBAWABA - Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, voiced his annoyance at his country's exclusion from a planned meeting in Switzerland, highlighting the need of Russia's participation in order to find a solution to the security problems in Europe and Ukraine.

"We received no invitation to the Swiss meeting. Without an honest and responsible engagement with us, it is difficult to find a solution for the security of Europe and Ukraine," said Putin.

The Russian president listed the circumstances under which Russia would be open to starting talks. He demanded that Ukraine give up its hopes of joining NATO and remove its military from the disputed areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia.

We are making Ukraine a sincere offer of peace today. We suggest ending the conflicts completely, not merely putting a stop to the hostilities or freezing the status quo," Putin said.

This declaration emphasizes the continuous tension and the difficulties in achieving a peaceful conclusion in the area.
