Princess Sumaya University for Technology Receives the Mayor of Amman

His Excellency. Mr. Omar Al Ma’ani, Mayor of Amman, recently visited the Princess Sumaya University of Technology (PSUT). He was received by Professor Hisham Ghassib, President of PSUT, Deans from several faculties, and the Consultant of PSUT’s Head of Board of Trustees.

The Mayor of Amman expressed his warm thanks to the university's administration for their kind hospitality. He stated that he was deeply impressed by the high standard of the educational programs that the university has to offer, especially given that it is the only university in Jordan to offer specialized educational programs pertaining to the information technology and communications fields. PSUT offers degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, and Computer Graphics and Animation, and the level of expertise its students demonstrate in these fields is indeed impressive. The Mayor  was also impressed with the social programs that the University organizes for its students, and on this occasion he stated that such programs play pivotal roles in bringing about social development  and economic development for the country, and for future generations as well

From his end, Professor Ghassib thanked the Mayor of Amman for the genuine interest he takes in the university and its development., and as a token of his appreciation he also handed Mr. Ma’ani a PSUT Plaque as a mark of the start of a fruitful relationship to be maintained by both sides in the future.
