Palestinian Interior Minster, Major General Nasser Yousef vowed on Saturday that the Palestinian Authority will end the state of anarchy in Palestinian territories under any conditions. Yousef told RNA: "Anarchy should end whatever the conditions are".
Yousef's comment came hours after a number of armed men opened fire on the home and office of the head of preventative security in Gaza Strip, Brigadier General, Rashid Abu Shbek.
Palestinian security sources and witnesses said that during the attack on Abu Shbek's home, shells were also fired on one of the preventative security posts in the area. Tawfik Abu Khousa, Ministry of Interior spokesman emphasized the occurrence of the attack, condemned it and said: "The case will be followed by Palestinian security forces."
