Eleven Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in separate incidents in the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Friday,a day which Palestinian groups had declared a "day of rage" against the wave of deadly clashes over the past eight days.
Palestine's TV announced that two Palestinians have been killed Friday night. However, it did not mention where they have been killed.
A Palestinian man was killed by Israeli fire in the Netzarim area of the Gaza Strip Friday evening, and one died of wounds sustained earlier in the week, reported AFP.
In the afternoon, a young Palestinian man was shot dead and dozens wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on demonstrators near a disputed holy site in Jerusalem's Old City Friday afternoon, said AFP.
An AFP photographer described the scene as reminiscent of medieval warfare as demonstrators crouched behind the ramparts of the city walls near Lion's Gate, one of eight open stone archways leading into the city, pelting stones on police below.
Demonstrators later set a nearby police station ablaze, destroying the small building and sending smoke billowing into the air, and hoisted a large Palestinian flag onto the walls, added the agency.

the report added that the man was identified as Marwan Abdel-Razeq.
A young Palestinian man was shot and killed in clashes near a disputed holy site in Jerusalem, hospital officials told AFP.
"So far there is one dead and many injured," said the official at Maqassed hospital in Jerusalem.
He described the Palestinian as in his 20s, but gave no further information about his identity, said the agency.
Two were killed earlier to the east of Nablus in the West Bank after a mass demonstration in the city. They were identified as Diyah Abdel Rahman Iyssa, 19, and Ehad Abdel Halim Ishtayeh 24, both of whom were shot in the chest.
Another died in the Gaza Strip flashpoint of Neztarim where Israeli soldiers fired on stone-throwing demonstrators. Hospital officials said Abdullah Al-Muqayed, 20, had his head blown off.
And in the north of the West Bank, in Tulkarem, Mohammed Khaled Tamman, 18, was killed in clashes with Israeli forces, hospital officials said -- (Several Sources)
