ALBAWABA - A shocking crime took place in Pakistan sparking fear about travelers' safety, authorities in Pakistan said Wednesday that several gunmen in the volatile southwest of the country killed seven bus passengers.
According to a government official, the gunmen committed their shooting after realizing that the passengers were from another region.
The attack took place on Tuesday night when attackers burst the tyres of the bus which was located on a highway through Balochistan, said Saadat Hussain, a senior government official.
After that gunmen entered the bus and requested to see the identities of the passengers before killing seven people.
Hussain said that people who were from "Punjab province were taken off by the terrorists and killed." He added: "Later they were lined up and shot dead."
Till this moment, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, AFP added.
