ALBAWABA - A shocking video was shared online showing an old woman in Turkey covered in blood while her son was brutally beating her up using a stick and fists in her house's garden in the Türkmenören neighborhood of Bozova.
The man, identified as İbrahim Yaprak, was seen beating his 85-year-old mother, Yaprak and leaving her in a serious condition before he was caught by the police. The woman was hospitalized.
According to Turkish website Haberler, the old woman was taken to Bozova State Hospital by her neighbors as she was seriously injured.
What was more shocking in the incident was when reports uncovered that the suspect, İbrahim Yaprak, had earlier strangled his wife in Switzerland and served 15 years in prison.

Turkish media reported Monday that the man returned from Switzerland 10 days ago to live with his mother. He was arrested by the police.
Yaprak was referred to the courthouse and was arrested and sent to prison.
A clip went viral and ignited outrage in Turkey, showing Yaprak attacking his mother multiple times with the stick in his hand, while the elderly woman collapsed from exhaustion due to the blows she received.
