ALBAWABA - At least 30 people were killed when a passenger bus plunged into a ravine in southern Bolivia on Monday, AFP reported citing media in the country.
Videos of rescue workers at the scene of the Bolivia bus crash were posted on social media. The bus appeared in a terrible condition following the accident.
Police colonel Victor Benavides told AFP that the bodies of "at least 30" passengers have been recovered after the crash which occurred on Monday near the town of Yocalla.
Local news outlet Unitel also added that about 15 others, including three kids, were injured in the bus crash and were hospitalized for medical care. Several are in a serious condition.
Authorities also added that the exact number of bus passengers is not immediately clear.
