Four people were injured Sunday when militants attacked a polio team in Pakistan that was administering a vaccination to children, police said.

The militants threw a small bomb at the team, Dawn News reported.

The injured included a 5-year-old girl, who was severely hurt and transported to the Quetta hospital for treatment.

The explosion also damaged a nearby building.

A polio campaign has been under way in Pakistan for four days, Dawn News said.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
